- Child's Photos: You may upload photos of your child to create personalized adventure videos.
These photos are stored locally on your device and are never sent to our servers in their original form.
- Child's Name and Age: We collect the child's name and age to personalize the story and video content.
- Story Preferences: We collect genre preferences and custom story inputs to generate personalized content.
2.2 Automatically Collected Information
- Generated Content: Stories and videos created through the App are stored locally on your device. We do not automatically collect device information or usage analytics.
✅ Privacy-First Approach: We do not collect device information, operating system details, or usage analytics. All data processing happens locally on your device (iOS app) or on secure servers only for authentication and credit management (website). We only collect the information you explicitly provide (such as authentication credentials and content you choose to create).
🛡️ Our Privacy-First Avatar System
Original photos NEVER leave your device. When you create an avatar:
- All photo processing (face detection, alignment, blending) happens entirely on your device
- We create a processed "canonical avatar" image that is optimized for video generation
- Only this processed avatar image is sent to video generation services
- Original photos remain securely stored on your device and are never transmitted
- Avatar images are stored locally on your device and can be deleted at any time
⚠️ CRITICAL: No Server Storage - Save Your Videos Before Deleting App!
We do NOT have a server to store your videos or photos. All videos, photos, and avatars are stored
locally on your device only. This means:
- All generated videos are saved locally on your device
- All uploaded photos are stored locally on your device
- All avatars are stored locally on your device
- If you delete the app, all your videos, photos, and avatars will be PERMANENTLY DELETED
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Before deleting the app from your device, you MUST:
- Save your favorite videos to your Photos library or export them to another location
- Back up any photos or avatars you want to keep
- Understand that deleting the app will permanently remove ALL local data with NO recovery option

3.5 Marketplace Sharing - Important Privacy Notice
⚠️ CRITICAL: Public Sharing of Videos Featuring Children
The Kids Adventure marketplace allows you to share videos publicly. When you share a video to the marketplace,
please be aware of the following important privacy and safety considerations:
- Public Visibility: Videos shared to the marketplace become publicly visible to anyone who accesses the marketplace,
including users who are not logged in
- Video Thumbnails: Thumbnails of your shared videos are visible to all marketplace visitors
- Shareable Links: Each shared video has a public URL that can be shared on social media, websites, or other platforms
- Story Purchases: Other users can purchase your story text (story content only, not the video or photos)
- No Control Over Sharing: Once a video link is shared publicly, you have no control over where it may be distributed
- Video Content: Shared videos contain images of your child and will be publicly accessible
🛡️ Parental Consent Required: Before sharing any video featuring a child to the marketplace:
- You must be the parent or legal guardian of the child featured in the video
- You must understand that the video will be publicly accessible
- You must consent to the public sharing of your child's image
- You can remove your video from the marketplace at any time
📝 What Gets Shared vs. What Stays Private
What is shared publicly:
- Video thumbnail (image preview)
- Video content (when played)
- Video title and story genre
- Public shareable URL/link
What is NOT shared:
- Original photos (never uploaded or shared)
- Your account information or personal details
- Your child's real name or age (unless included in the video title)
- Your location or contact information
When users purchase your story, they receive only the story text content, NOT your video or any photos.
By sharing a video to the marketplace, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this privacy notice,
are the parent/guardian of the child featured in the video, and consent to the public sharing of the video.
4. Third-Party Services
4.1 AI Services
We use third-party AI services to create personalized content:
- AI Video Generation Services:
- Basic Videos: For generating character-integrated keyframe images. We send only the processed avatar image (not original photos) to generate images. The third-party service's privacy policy applies to their processing of this data.
- Premium Videos: For generating video clips. We send only the processed avatar image (not original photos) to generate videos. The third-party service's privacy policy applies to their processing of this data.
- AI Story Generation Services: For story generation and scene planning. We send story text and preferences (no photos or personal identifiers). The third-party service's privacy policy applies to their processing of this data.
⚠️ Important: When using AI services, only processed avatar images are sent.
Original photos never leave your device. However, the processed avatar image may still contain identifiable
features of your child. Please review third-party privacy policies before use.
4.2 Firebase Services
- Firebase Storage: We temporarily store processed avatar images in Firebase Storage
to generate video URLs for video generation API calls. These files are automatically deleted after video generation is complete.
- Firebase Authentication: For secure user authentication
- Firestore: For storing app configuration and user preferences (no child photos or personal data)
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:
- On-Device Processing: All photo processing happens locally on your device
- Encryption: Data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS
- Secure Storage: Firebase Storage uses encryption at rest
- Access Controls: Limited access to data on a need-to-know basis
- Automatic Deletion: Temporary files are automatically deleted after use
6. COPPA Compliance
Kids Adventure is designed for children and complies with COPPA requirements:
- Parental Consent: We require parental consent before collecting any information from children under 13
- Minimal Data Collection: We only collect information reasonably necessary for the App to function
- Parental Rights: Parents can review, request deletion, or refuse further collection of their child's information
- Data Retention: We retain data only as long as necessary and securely dispose of it afterward
- No Targeted Advertising: We do not use children's information for targeted advertising
- No Third-Party Sharing: We do not share children's information with third parties except as necessary
for video generation services (with processed avatar images only)
7. Parental Rights
Parents have the following rights regarding their child's information:
- Review: Request to review what information we have collected about your child
- Delete: Request deletion of your child's information and avatar data
- Refuse Collection: Refuse further collection or use of your child's information
- Revoke Consent: Revoke consent at any time

8. Data Retention and Deletion
⚠️ CRITICAL WARNING: No Server Storage for Media
We do NOT store your videos, photos, or avatars on our servers.
While your user account, subscription, and credits are stored securely in our database,
all videos, photos, and avatars are stored locally on your device only.
Before deleting the app, you MUST save your videos to your Photos library or export them elsewhere.
Deleting the app will PERMANENTLY DELETE all your videos, photos, and avatars with NO recovery option.
Your account will remain, but all locally stored media will be lost.
- Local Storage: Photos, avatars, and generated videos are stored locally on your device only.
You can delete them at any time through the App settings. There is no server backup.
- App Deletion: If you delete the app from your device, all videos, photos, and avatars will be
permanently deleted. Please save your videos to your Photos library before deleting the app.
- Cloud Storage: Temporary avatar images in Firebase Storage are automatically deleted after video generation
is complete. These are temporary processing files only, not permanent storage.
- Third-Party Services: We do not control data retention by third-party AI services.
Please review their privacy policies for their data retention practices.
- User Accounts: We use Firebase Authentication to provide secure user accounts. Your account credentials, subscription status, and credit balance are stored securely in our database. However, videos, photos, and avatars are stored locally on your device only. If you delete the app, your account remains, but all locally stored media will be permanently deleted.
9. Children's Privacy
Our Commitment to Children's Privacy:
- We never knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent
- Original child photos are processed entirely on your device and never transmitted to our servers
- Only processed avatar images (not original photos) are sent to video generation services
- We do not use children's information for marketing or advertising purposes
- We do not share children's information with third parties except as necessary for video generation
- Parents have full control over their child's data and can delete it at any time
10. International Users
If you are using our App from outside the United States, please note that your information may be transferred to,
stored, and processed in the United States where our servers are located. By using our App, you consent to the
transfer of your information to the United States.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy
Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically
for any changes.
